NCRPD offers several youth sports programs throughout the year that focus on character enrichment, as well as, skill development. Come join one or all of our great sports leagues. See you at practice!
Summer Day Camp
Join us for our new and fun filled Summer day Camp!! Enjoy games, sports, crafts, field trips and much more. Breakfast, hot lunch, and snacks are provided daily. Weekly field trips are available to Summer Day Camp participants at an additional cost. REGISTER HERE

Junior Giants Baseball
Junior Giants, the flag ship program of the San Francisco Giants Community Fund, is a FREE non-competitive motivational baseball program for boys & girls ages 5-18 years old. The program provides baseball caps, t-shirts, gloves, equipment, and even BASEBALL TICKETS to a (select) SF Giants or San Jose Giants baseball game. With a focus on the four bases of character development: Confidence, Integrity, Leadership, & Teamwork, the Junior Giants is a popular program in our community. Full season participation & requirements necessary for tickets to a Giants game. Coaches needed! REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED!

49ers Prep Flag Football
49ers Prep Flag Football is a brand new, FREE program intended to offer a first-class youth sports opportunity to boys and girls ages 7-10. This program is run by community-based organizations such as Police Activities Leagues (PALs), Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs, City Parks and Recreation departments along with other local partners committed to harnessing football to educate and empowering Bay Area youth. 49ers Prep welcomes all skill levels and backgrounds. Our goal is to create a positive and safe environment where participants have fun while learning the game of flag football. REGISTRATION IS CLOSED DUE TO MAXIMUM PARTICIPANTS ALLOWED.

YOUTH BOXING
BOXING STRONG IS BACK THIS SUMMER! North County Rec Center has teamed up with Boxing Strong this Summer to offer youth boxing to the North County community. Boxing is a great way to get your kids back in shape while learning life skills such as discipline and hard work. Youth boxing is also a great confidence builder and a whole lot of fun!

YOUTH ARCHERY CAMP
Archery is where your child participates in a sport, develops strong problem solving skills, increases their focus and determination, learns goal setting, builds confidence and creates friendships that will last a lifetime. USA Archery’s Youth programs are tailored to help the young archer achieve their goals. It is completely safe, fun, and taught by a certified USA Archery instructor. Equipment is provided.

Track & Field
Track and field is a sport that includes athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills. Running and jumping helps develop muscles in legs which make it easier to have good balance. The name is derived from where the sport takes place, a running track and a grass field for the throwing and some of the jumping events. REGISTRATION IS CLOSED DUE TO MAXIMUM PARTICIPANTS ALLOWED

SURFING
Has your child ever wanted to try surfing or body boarding? Look no further! North County Rec has partnered with The Wahine Project to offer a beach recreation and conservation program for kids ages 6-17. No equipment or experience necessary! We take care of everything in a safe and controlled environment!

Junior Warriors Basketball
Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the fundamentals or a seasoned player looking to compete against other County teams, our Junior Warriors offers a variety of levels for kids to enjoy the game of basketball.

Ventana Wildlife Society Day Camp!
Experience a free program for your kids this summer. North County Recreation and Park District has partnered up with Ventana Wildlife Society this summer for campers to explore the natural world through story telling, exploring tidepools and other habitats, and creating projects, daily themes, great things to learn and much more!

Aztec Dance
This dedicated historical heritage group is a source of cultural awareness, enrichment, and a positive form of expression. Their beauty and artistry is in reference to ancient Mexico and stands today for diversity and social justice and are important to their legacy in the community. Come enjoy traditional cultural costumes, as well as song and dance every week. Offered by Kalpulli Oceloyotl.

Skate Club-TBA
Skate Club is free and open to experienced and new skateboarders alike. Forgot your board? Want to learn to ride? No worries, we got your back. Skateboards are available to borrow with parental consent. The club also hosts skate competitions with winners receiving prizes from Santa Cruz clothing co. Safety gear required.
Community Days
During summer months our staff offers fun and interactive arts & crafts, games, game shows, and events to kids and youth in the community FREE of charge. No registration is necessary, simply show up and get involved.
