Youth Sports

NCRPD hosts drop in recreational services for youth at the North County Rec Center Monday through Friday after school and beginning at 1pm during the summer and all school breaks. Activities include rock climbing, homework help, floor hockey, games, tournaments, crafts and cooking classes. Kids have access to the gym and any activities we offer at no charge. NCRPD is also the host site for a youth nutrition program that serves a full lunch Monday through Friday during the summer months and snack in the afternoon.

JR. WARRIORS BASKETBALL

Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the fundamentals or a seasoned player looking to compete against other County teams, Jr warriors offers a variety of levels for kids to enjoy the game of basketball.

Registration fee: Ages 5-9 $80 ($92 out of district), ages 10-14 $100($115 out of district).

Last day to register is December 6.

Jr. Giants

Junior Giants, the flag ship program of the San Francisco Giants Community Fund, is a FREE non-competitive motivational baseball program for boys & girls ages 5-18 years old. The program provides baseball caps, t-shirts, gloves, equipment, and even tickets to a (select) SF Giants or San Jose Giants baseball game*. With a focus on the four bases of character development: Confidence, Integrity, Leadership, & Teamwork, the Junior Giants is a popular program in our community. Youth Soccer League

Get the young ones active, excited, and ready for Soccer. Each player receives a team jersey (shirt) and award medal. The league emphasis is on social interaction, sportsmanship, basic game fundamentals, and spirited competition along with exercise and all the how-to’s that come with learning the world’s most popular sport. COACHES, OFFICIALS, & VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
