NCRPD offers several youth sports programs throughout the year that focus on character enrichment, as well as, skill development. Come join one or all of our great sports leagues. See you at practice!
NCRPD’s youth baseball leagues provides children 4 to 6 years old with an opportunity to learn the game of baseball in a fun environment. We focus on teaching fundamental baseball skills while encouraging good sportsmanship and teamwork. All games are played at North County Sports Complex (Japanese School Park).
Junior Giants, the flag ship program of the San Francisco Giants Community Fund, is a FREE non-competitive motivational baseball program for boys & girls ages 5-18 years old. The program provides baseball caps, t-shirts, gloves, equipment, and even tickets to a (select) SF Giants or San Jose Giants baseball game*. With a focus on the four bases of character development: Confidence, Integrity, Leadership, & Teamwork, the Junior Giants is a popular program in our community. Full season participation & requirements necessary for tickets to a Giants game. Coaches needed! Season: June-August.
Youth Soccer League
Get the young ones active, excited, and ready for Soccer. Each player receives a team jersey (shirt) and award medal. The league emphasis is on social interaction, sportsmanship, basic game fundamentals, and spirited competition along with exercise and all the how-to’s that come with learning the world’s most popular sport. COACHES, OFFICIALS, & VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Season: August-October
USTA H.I.T.S. TENNIS PROGRAM
H.I.T.S. is a low-cost tennis program that incorporates the fundamentals of a team sport with life skills enrichment. Kids will participate in fun activities while learning the fundamentals of tennis in a safe and supportive environment. Season: Fall at Prunedale Elementary School
JUNIOR WARRIORS BASKETBALL
Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the fundamentals or a seasoned player looking to compete against other County teams, Jr warriors offers a variety of levels for kids to enjoy the game of basketball. Season: January-March
